I like this border, though I wish is was smaller. I don't like the fact that it's the first thing I noticed. I also moight have gone for a tiny bit faster shutter speed to really catch those drops sharply. Nice composition and interesting colors.

ok, i like the colors, the impact, the composition, and the basic execution. but, there's just something that's not clicking for me. i hate to criticize, especially knowing how hard it is to catch a shot like this, but something just seems off. maybe it's the pattern of the splash and the lighting on it? oh well, don't mind me. good luck!

(ps: i'm not going to hold it against you that you didn't completely wipe up the surface between takes...)
