Seperation? I don't see how this fits, but it is an interesting image anyway. I might have taken the shot in a way that removes the stem from the shot so the viewer wouldn't know exactly what they were seeing.

I think that the bridge is a bit too hot, but I'm not sure if there really is any details to be seen on the bridge anyway. I love how its set against the dark background and foreground as it makes the bridge really stand out. I do have to say though, I think my favorite part of the photo is the tiretracks leading up to the bridge. Good job!

Ugly as sin, yet iconic. The subdues midtones, rich darks and startling whites are remarkable. Modern technlogy crossing the mire of poverty or something. (even though in this case, it's causing the mire.)
