4Vincentby messerschmittComment by deapee: Really interesting photo. I like the high contrast, but I think the highlights could be toned down just a little, for my personal taste anyway. Very interesting though, and it's pleasing to the eye -- you should offer this in a print. |

This is a charming photograph and one the parents are sure to treasure. I love the dark sepia effect here, it compliments the "dress-up" style of the childrens clothing. The dark hat seems to blend into the background a little bit too much and I wonder if that could be corrected in Photoshop. All in all, this is a wonderful look into childhood, and children. I love how you have captured a precious moment for all time. |

strollby messerschmittComment by srdanz: I like the positioning of the person in the photo. Apparently there must be something correct with that golden ratio rule. It is pleasing to the eye...
the only thing that seems unnatural is the color of the sky. the edges of the road - the transition from the road to the grass is also unnaturally clean for the rural landscape like this one.
I may be wrong, i.e. it may be like this in nature, but it does not seem like a naturally occurring phenomenon.
