I actually thought it was kinda interesting too, I noticed that there were a couple of X patterns in the bark, but I did feel that it was a bit too much of a stretch for me.

You might try hitting a desat on the blue channel to get rid of the distraction on the top left.

Otherwise, an interesting abstract with a bit of a gothic feel.

sorry to have confused all you folks but this image was not meant as an entry for this challenge
the xx is just a worktitle and i just parked the image there to see what it looks like (lack of space in my portofolio)
this happened to me twice lately im afraid to say
i have tried to get it undone the entry but they could or would not let me do so
or at least give it a title (bark: cause that is what it is
and there is a user with this name i found out) but this plan didnt work out either for some reason
its true the image is quit dark but if u dont see anything on your monitor than i think the monitor is no good or needs adjustement
so apart from that Ennil liked the image it has some purpose in the end
so sorry for the mistake im gonna try to not let it happen again

very dark image, i'm not sure what it is supposed to be when you say XX. looks like a tree, but i don't see two X's. The border is quite large, i hope you're not getting beaten up too bad for that.
