I have told a lot of people in this challenge that wide angle lenses are a big no no for portrait photography, unless of course you know how to use them and this is a good example of how it should be done if you want to use a wide angle, you obviously know enough about photography that you can break the rules and still make it work. Nice lighting.

I was looking through all the 10's I've given and noticed I didnt comment on this one.
This picture is awesome. Just looking up there would be terrifying for any one with this phobia and you capture it very well.
The focus is perfect and the dark luring shadows in this dim forest are fantastic.

It's beautiful. Elegant and thoughtful. Understated and confident.
But maybe the best thing about it is that it does not have a "kick" to it.
So good to see a photograph that's all about the subject and not about the photographer.

I take this shot all the time, can't help myself. It never comes out like this though! Wonderful detail and the coloration chosen was perfect for the challenge.
