Growing Up by jenaromComment by Jacko: lol. This is great. Tiny recommendations: 1) leave a bit more room in front of the feet (looks like the little feet have room to move) 2) use more than one light source to reduce the shadow on the right. Other than that, super duper shot. Jacko. 9 |

Growing Up by jenaromComment by PTLParsons: Absolutely wonderful photo. Shame it's a little dark with a shadow on the right side but still great. Great portrait without the heads. Do it again and use a side light to get rid of the shadow and frame it and hang it. That's where it belongs. Great one. Should score up there in the top 10. |

Growing Up by jenaromComment by FranziskaLang: challenge met. what a great idea :) some may tell you that the adult should have bare legs and feet, too, but i liked the added contrast by him/her being dressed. great clarity and skin color, your lighting is a tad uneven (dark to the right) and i would leave just a smidgen more room at the bottom, but it is a great shot regardless. :) |

Growing Up by jenaromComment by carsten: This is a great composition. Lighting, focus and colours are all good. Perhaps I had liked the adult without trousers and socks. Anyway a great shot that gets high score from me. |

Growing Up by jenaromComment by cnobre: Great picture! I love it! If only the right man's foot was little lighter.... one baby step forward would have done the trick! That's a 9 in my book! |

Growing Up by jenaromComment by smellyfish1002: I had thought of doing something similar to this but I didn't. I'm glad, because your shot is excellent and I wouldn't want to be the worse of the two! Your lighting, focus, DOF, etc is perfect. I am impressed that you have no wrinkles in your background cloth!! That drives me nuts on this site! The only thing I would have done differently would be to crop farther away from the child's toes. A little white space in front of the toes would help with image balance IMO. Overall, nicely done and I give it a 9. JD Anderson |
