As a rule it is very difficult to combine sky and land without special filters and get a good photo. In this picture the camera has taken the exposure from the light sky and that is why the land (which is more interesting) has become too dark. I would have concentrated on land and made a panoramic pic with a sky of only 1/5 of the present. This is a great sight!

For me, the bush in the foreground disrupts the composition, and the rest seems a little too noise reduced.

Nice crisp photo. My only complaint is I'm not sure it really fits the challenge which is a complaint I have about MANY photos. It seemed there were not a lot of good photos in the dead end challenge. Yours rated among the highest for me at 7. If I felt it was a tad more suited for the challenge it would have been an 8

There's a very distinctive "feel" to this shot. I'm not sure what it is (gaussian blur?) but I do like it.
