The trees look like they're leaning different ways - normally I find that visually unappealing but I think here, it enhances the sense of motion in the shot and makes me imagine I am in a car about to travel those turns.

I confess I know nothing about HDR, but I feel that the grove of trees is not sharp/defined enough - it blurs together.

Nice one! Just noticed it via the HDR scores thread. Pitiable how the scorers are beating down true HDR images (like mine) in the HDR challenge because they actually look more or less natural, and presumably voting up the cartoons. It is gonna just foster misunderstanding of the real purpose of HDR and turn it into another grunge effect on our site :-(

You should try pulling up the saturation in the reds - it would bring a great balance to the bright greens and bring some life to the leaves
