PLANTERSby glad2badadComment by Cheerz: Hi Barry,
I think your intention with size reduction had really done the photo a huge disfavor here!
What I like about the photo:
- As a product shot, I think there is consideration for the stage setting. I can see this in an advert spread or in a magazine page.
- I like the use of burlap. It's a good choice of background and allow the subject to blend into the image.
What could have been improved:
- Unlike your other execution of a clean sharp image like:
the blur effect makes the photo a little "out of focus" as a whole. I'm sure The original version would had been much better.
- The cropping is a little tight on top, bottom and right, making it tougher for a full bleed usage.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

PLANTERSby glad2badadComment by stevieian: I like the background; I think it goes well with the product. I also like the composition. One small nitpick--the out-of-focus yellow lid is drawing my eye. |

Relaxedby glad2badadComment by bassbone: honest, simple portrait - very good job to focus on the face - the angled composition really emphasizes the eyes |

PLANTERSby glad2badadComment by KarenNfld: Very clear, the nuts look tasty and fresh, good for an ad. Not so sure I like the background material though. |

PLANTERSby glad2badadComment by Dmosier21: Mmm mmm. Burlap really works better than a plain Jane backdrop! WB is a bit too warm I think (others will surely disagree though!). |
