Hehe, sorry, Barry. I really did think it was a whiterook. I wouldn't have scored it DNMC, but the technical deficiencies to me are the yellowishness (word?) and focus placement and composition. A for effort and clever concept though. :)

I didn't vote in this challenge, but (since you asked in the forums), without the title I see this as chess pieces in various stages of falling over. With the title I see this as a metaphor for Barack Obama falling over, i.e., being defeated (possibly after having defeated Hillary Clinton).

Forgetting metaphors, it's a nice photo of the black piece falling. The piece really stands out thanks to that lensbaby.

I like the muted colors and the very shallow DOF. Really makes the knot more of the subject than the line, but I still like it a lot.
