The Big Oakby glad2badadComment by Zoomdak: Alright, this one is like a breath of fresh air. I went ooh, nice lighting. wait, what is that in the tree, cool! Interesting composition choice. I would rather the kid looking into the frame so the eye isn't drawn out of the frame, and the darkness of the tree also draws the eye right. But the luminescence of the leaves and the background is quite nice. I wonder if the kid was placed further out on the branch (like in the upper left R.o.Thirds). Great shot though. |

The Big Oakby glad2badadComment by Kavey: What a sweet scene, though I almost didn't notice the little boy. I wonder if it would be stronger were he wearing something of a different colour - nothing too bright, maybe blue or yellow? Then again, perhaps you wanted him to blend in? |

The Big Oakby glad2badadComment by ivale28: I love the softness of this image. It would have been great without the little boy in the oak - with him in there makes it excellent. Innocence and wistfulness is what I see. Beautiful/ |

The Big Oakby glad2badadComment by mpeters: Adding the boy was a great touch. I find the BG a little distracting and wish their was a way to change the camera position slightly to exclude the grey/green bushes in the BG. 7 |
