I am pretty sure I have never seen an A. Adams shot done in pink... Also, the white highlights seem to be overdone.

Awesome shallow DOF!! Very pretty eyes with a perfect expression. Enough of a real smile to not feel like a "posed" shot. His shirt compliments his eyes really well. This would even be a great senior shot. 9 -BB

The rendering is wonderful, the cropping is most unfortunate. The pinewood box, the Dremel Motor box, the scale, and the man's head and elbow, all are truncated. By contrast, the boy is fully developed, as if HE were the subject of the image, yet your title suggests otherwise. So it's sending me confusing messages.

If it were my image, I'd probably have moved the camera lower so I could make this shot with the workbench occupying less real estate, and I've had been sure to include all of dad's head.

One last thing: in the BG, there's a yellow container and a yellow can (of woodstain I think) and these are REAL eyetraps, because you have developed a compositional triangle comprised of two heads and the work project, and the yellow objects are smack in the center of that, so they are really drawing the eye.

Sorry for all the nits, because I like the picture, love the processing, but I wish it were fully living up to its potential.

crop a little too tight for me and don't care for the border. But the sharpness is dead on and the lighting and colors are very good.
