this is quite good....and like mine has "soft focus spots" in different areas..translation...not quite as super sharp as it could be...I know that with mine it was really hard to get the buggers to sit still long enough to focus

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for the Mu (most underrated) award:

Positives: I always like to see Lensbaby images in the FS. I like the way the light illuminates the steps and the sense of movement you have captured.

Critical stuff: If I'm honest, I'm not sure there's enough intrinsic interest in the scene for it to be a compelling image.

Overall: Quite nicely done but it isn't an image that appeals to me.
