Thanks for the comment / question. It's a bit of experimentation to find the right ISO and shutter speed. Started with the 400 rule (400 divided by focal length â€Â¦ 400/24 = 16 seconds rounded down). Take a few exposures to dial in the settings. Hardest part is getting focus. The lens I used, like many, doesn't quite sit right at the infinity mark. Just a slight movement in focus (like 1/32") made a big difference. In retrospect I think I sharpened this a bit too much in post (I should edit on my PC and good monitor instead of being lazy and doing it on a laptop in front of the TV - LOL). |
