Very nicely cropped - I think the negative space on the left works very well here. Beautiful soft yellows. The composition of the shot has a very pleasing artistic feel (all of your work does!). I like the texture in the background but I think it would look nice a wee bit darker (and I think the lines could have been cloned out cleanly). Your model is great. His expression is interesting...can't quite tell what he is thinking about...sort of a Mona Lisa thing! Maybe a little more warm golden light on his face? I do not understand why this shot did not score significantly better! Maybe voters were unforgiving of the lines in the background?

Great colors and composition here. I love the curves and the shapes the birds make. Nice lighting. Cool border. Great score! Only small potential improvement in my humble opinion would be a sharper focus.
