This is a fantastic idea......too bad nothing in the photo is in focus. Properly taken, this would, in my opinion, have garnered a really good score. As it stands, I am very much afraid you will find yourself in the lower half.

Thank you for your comments. When I submitted, I knew it was kinda blown out, but hoped it would be seen more as a whole lot of rim light. Im not sure where the line is. Anyways I just liked the pose and expression so much. Jazmine has had the camera pointed at her so much, she gets a little annoyed. I'll have to try again with better lighting when she is feeling cooperative. She crosses her legs like this naturally and often on command. "Sit pretty, Jaz!"

Looks like the back lighting has caused some lens flare, which has affected the contrast around the dog's face.

I really like your photo and can appreciate how hard it can be to keep a dog poised. The problem is the top of the dogs head and neck is to over exposed.

I guess I am in trouble. My big boy Ruger the German Wirehair has dark brown, white, and liver fur. Guess I need variegated earth tone everything!
