I really like the silver/black contrast. The center droplet is a bit fuzzy though. More glint on the water would have made a big difference.

I can see now how the scratches might look like spider webbing. The magnifying glass is part of the compass and I was thinking that catching the light sideways in it would be a nice emphasis, but now that I imagine the image without it I can see how it could be distracting. Thanks for the comments.
