Not a bad pic at all, just do not like the noise...

Returning to look at this again... There is definately some background noise that does not compliment your blade. The idea is good and so the lighting on the blade. I really like the play of red, it actually creates the pic. If not for this background noise, could have scored it much higher. All said, bumping up on merit.

This is very cute capture and totally reflects the love. A very nice expression on the subject. I like the angle of this shot and the way Roxanne reaches to the kids face. A very loving shot indeed.

As for technical details, I would agree with other commentors that this looks like a snapshot. the background is distracting, a plain and simple background would sure enhance the photo.The yellowish wall in the background mixes up a little with the subjects' color.

I think you can improve the picture with a tighter crop on the bottom-left portion which doesn't serve much as far as the impact from the photo goes. This should balance the areas covered in the photograph by the two subjects.

Overall, you have a very cute capture here.
