I think the chain link fence, though busier than I would normally prefer for a portrait, really works here, too. It all makes such a busy and rough texture that gives the image a kind of grittiness that seems to really go with the subject matter. 7 from me. |

Over-processed to no end but a super great job and capture....I'd give it a 9 or 10 but the subject is not really the fence...that leaves an 8. |

shadowsby arsenalComment by Gringo: Unusual processing technique. I like it. I do clearly see the fence in this even though the fence is not the primary subject. I am giving this one high marks. |

shadowsby arsenalComment by glad2badad: This is a very interesting photo. The man looks to have some interesting features and I'll bet he good tell a fine story or two. :D I like the bokeh working in the background fence (although some are going to have an issue with that being a secondary subject I think). I'm not real crazy about the approach you took with PP on this, just not my taste I guess - kind of ruined the shot for me personally. I do wish you luck in the challenge. Take care. |

vagabondby arsenalComment by SaraR: I don't much care for the post-processing - far too 'overdone' for my taste. I would love to see it with a more subtle treatment, 'though. |
