breatherby arsenalComment by locutus: A nice sense of rotational blur. And very evocative of a sense of a worn out piece of equipment from a bygone era, helped by the choice of monochrome.
But the compoition needs a little more. I've no idea what, but it needs a little more. |

hummingbirdby arsenalComment by SandyP: Wow! THIS is awesome! That little fellow is razor sharp. I love all the negative space too because it emphasizes the diminutive size of that thimble-sized little bird! Way to go! By the way, I'm obsessed these days with capturing the little hummingbird that occasionally flies into our yard. I'm so jealous of you guys that get great hummingbird shots! |

breatherby arsenalComment by posthumous: the straight-on angle of the fan plus the pitch black background makes the off-center composition ineffective, i.e. it has no effect except to be off center. But a great picture of a fan. |

breatherby arsenalComment by talikf: Good lighting and interesting subject, I think center would have worked this time but it's not bad on the side either. It might have been more interesting with a person on the side with her hair blowing or something. |

breatherby arsenalComment by olbol: Nice tones, but the dense grill is hiding much of the movement, imho. Removing it would probably rob the picture of all its 'worn' quality, so there's a bit of a dillema. Possibly - come closer? |
