If cropped just above the crease in the large petal, a small area of shadow accentuates the light blueness of all the larger petals, while supporting the lightness of the tighter bud area. Lovely picture.

well done! Many of the photos I have seen thus far have backgrounds that are not truly white, which is what I expected from this challenge. I wanted to see backgrounds that were obviously white, not greys. My only distraction is the blur from what may be a petal at the top left....too bad for basic editing in this challenge. My only other issue with the shot is the shadows in the bottom left. It would have been nice to have this area darker and still keep the brightness of the flower. I like flowers, I like the light on white here. 7

I realize the challenge reflects light on white, but for this photo, it (the full white bg)seems a bit stark in contrast. However, It's a great composition and the water droplets caught just the right amount of light to keep it natural.
