Day 7 Worsley Canal B&W.jpgby ValdoComment by option: The black and white pattern on the house make this a natural choice for b&w... however, I would try converting it again. There is no contrast between the greens and reds, something you should be able to do easily, even in something simple like Picasa:
Hope you dont mind, thats my quick take on a more contrasty BW conversion. Selective BW, filtered red, in Picasa. You could probably do alot better with channel mixer and more time...
Cheers! (I'm not bored at all today...) |

Day 7 Worsley Canal.jpgby ValdoComment by yeti: is there an unoccupied guest house on the grounds?
Beautiful place, nice shot, the gentleman and his dog add a homey feeling to an otherwise imposing home. |

Day 4 URBIS nightby ValdoComment by Arcanist: While I like the colors, patterns, and reflections, I am not a fan of the acute angle here. At first I thought I was looking at a swimming pool. A couple of degrees rotation clockwise would greatly reduce the impact of the tilting, and still achieve a unique presentation. |

Waiting for a sunsetby ValdoComment by Ben: Good work bringing out those rays. The way they're angled out is perfect as they seem to conform towards the center boat. Lovely tones in the water aswell.
