Sadby rkligmanComment by posthumous: I like how the colors are washed out. I also like the curtains. it all contributes to the mood, even the new building hiding in the background contributes as antagonist. |

Sadby rkligmanComment by coliwabl: I like that you have old architecture with the obsure new behind the Hotel sign. |

Sadby rkligmanComment by puzzled: very nice - I like the rust or whatever it is that's red on the hotel sign. Contrasts well with the grey of the hotel and the newer building in the background. The curtains give a little mystery, too. |

Cruisin'by rkligmanComment by Skip: a shot of people on a sailboat. nothing wrong with it technically. does it meet the challenge? could you have done something different to really hammer the challenge home? who knows? maybe if something exciting happened, like if someone got whacked by a boom, or if someone was dangling overboard, or if someone was mooning you. well, if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread... |

Cruisin'by rkligmanComment by espy2: I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.
This is more of an action and water or sport shot for me. I would have listed it in those categories way before listing it as a candid. It's ok, but only a 3 for me. Not one person gives me something to look at really in emotion or story value for a candid. It's just a 3 for me, both as a candid and for technicals. |

Home Stretchby rkligmanComment by Skip: nice capture! i'll bet this was fun to shoot. something seems just a bit off for me, though. i'm not sure, but i think if you saturated the riders just a bit more, and muted the background just a bit more, you'd have a really killer image. but hey, that's just my opinion. you have a nice image, and i hope it does well for you! good luck! |

Home Stretchby rkligmanComment by Zoomdak: I don't know what your shooting conditions were, but I think it would have been cooler to have a little closer veiw (like of just the three horses in the back). But I do like the motion of the moment you've captured. |
