This photo has potential. It's pretty well composed, and it looks like you got low to the ground to get a straight on shot. However, the focus feels a bit off, and the lighting it really harsh (a lot of blown out background grass). I would suggest for the latter to bump the EV (exposure value) down to maybe -2/3 or -1 to ensure the highlights are not blown out.

I liked this photo with the grey background and the subtle shadow, but I think the guy needs more focus to really get out of the picture.
