There were several swing pictures. I'd like to tell you what grabbed me about this one as "unique." You captured not only a passtime but the whole "family"& "backyard carefree living" aura.

Unusual swing photo - in that it's not in a park and I assume it's one that was put up for a kid by mum and dad.
The fence uprights are well positioned. The upper tree is very dark. Can't decide whether I like the house being in it or not.

This is a good 'childhood' photo :) Compositionally, I think there may be room for some improvement... This shot, in my opinion, reminds me of a LOT of child photos that I see around... The photograph is made from a higher angle looking down. I believe that when photographing children, or adolescent themed photos, getting down on the level of the child and shooting level works very well. This shot may also have some more impact of the tree was off center to the right and the swing was more on the left... possibly by moving about 3 or 4 steps to your right to make this photo :) - jmsetzler

Wow, what a challenge!!! Thank you to all of you who were so positive. Even if I didn't meet the challenge, there are so many of you who appreciated the pic anyway. Maybe I really was out of mind when I submitted this picture ;-). I even have some really high scores - and I achieved that I would be the taillight. Once again, thank you for your positive comments.

You got RIPPED OFF!!! If only people would LOOK at the photos!!! I am totally apaulled. This is a great photo and should have done WAY better. I hope you do know that it's not your fault that this got a low score. It's the voters not taking the time to look at the darn photos. You can tell the people who looked at it, and didn't. I say Congrats and you got a great score from me. Keep up the good work. Maybe everyone left their glasses home the day they voted. Grrrrrr....I am very frusterated that this didn't do better. Please forgive me if I'm out of line. Grrrrrr again.
