The Old Daysby A VaryaComment by Catherine_B: Not a very interesting subject for a free study. The contracts are too large and the details of the trees are lost in this shot. |

Stone's Throwby A VaryaComment by debitipton: Lexa -- I found the comments on your photo an interesting mix. Some complaining about the colors and some loving them. I find the contrast between the dark window frames and windows and the pink of the building to be very interesting. It makes the pink pop. The broken glass adds a visual interest to the photo. Really think this should have scored higher.

The Old Daysby A VaryaComment by RKT: I think this would benefit from a bit more contrast. I t's hard to tell if that's a building or an old drive movie screen. |

The Old Daysby A VaryaComment by sfalice: lopve the monochromatic treatment on this image. unfortunate about that contrail (straight edge) in the clouds. Still, a mysterious and haunting image. |

There is beauty in what society calls an eyesore.
Well Done! |

Stone's Throwby A VaryaComment by Kathy: You either tweeked the coloring too much, or somebody else had their bedroom color chosen by my really obnoxious kid sister (circa 1958). I'm not totally enamoured of this picture, but you did a terrific job getting the broken glass areas. |
