I think in order for this to look like Avedon, it needs much more contrast and perhaps a sense of purpose. As it is, it just kind of looks like a guy in a windbreaker. Does that make sense? Avedon's stuff caught people in the act of doing what they do (ie: a singer singing, a chef with a chef hat on, etc.) I think this might have a bit better impact too if it wasn't so centered.

Nice picture. I note the tonality in Avedon's work is a little richer, with darker tones and more contrast. This one is coming off a little light, perhaps some more PS work. Fits the challenge and style very well though! Nice job.

This is such an origional photo and so well done..... I like the shapes of the baby tomatoes along with the silver points. Great composition and very well excuted. Should be in the top ten, and could even ribbon.....
