Maybe put the newer camera closer to the frame.

Comment by Ivo:
Unfortunately, being a photography website you can expect that this type of theme is used excessively. That being so, it makes the photgrapher's work that much harder because it is not original. The overall focus of the shot is not too bad but it is very evident where your primary light source originates thus resulting in shadows. You have decided to incorporate a frame in the photo yet it is just sitting there acting more as an eyesore than an enhancement. I would have used the older camera as the primary focus because it is so much more interesting than these new plastic cases we all have. The subjects are too centered and are presented in a catologue manner. Your willingness to include things to dress up the shot is admirable but adding some creativity could have given more favorable results. Hope that helps.

A novel idea, but it would have been more effective if you'd have included more "reflected" items on both sides of the frame.

Having the digicam closer to the frame would have allowed a tighter crop, and better detail in both images. The right side of the frame is distracting, and the image would have worked fine without it.

Think your nikon could have been closer to get a little more height to the older camera but good idea...similar to mine good luck
