Rising Above the Crowdby duff24Comment by duff24: I've been on a business trip for the last couple of days and couldn't respond at the end of the voting. Thanks to everyone for the comments on the submission. My first to DPC, and a little rushed. To Konador and Army of nOne, I tried a wide range of Depth of Field, but didn't like results. This image seemed to be the best compromise. I feel it could improve by elevating the main subject more, making them stand out, and probably using a wider angle (tough to do with the 5700).
See you all in the next Challenge. |

Rising Above the Crowdby duff24Comment by Army of nOne: I think you should have maxed out the DOF on this. Make that field of metal pins feel more ubitquitous, instead of letting the blurriness make it fade away. Good idea. |

Rising Above the Crowdby duff24Comment by Konador: I love these things, they are so simple yet so much fun :) I think a shallower DoF if possible would enhance this photo, making the standing pins stand out more. |
