Iris of Glassby dexter2Comment by autool: I am sure you have heard of trying to put a round peg in a square hole. Well this is kind of what has happened with this shot. The two shapes don't work well together, maybe if you had positioned the complete circular shape inside a portion of the frame it would be more pleasing to the eye. 5 |

Iris of Glassby dexter2Comment by peter_k: It's the first time I've seen a glass eye with a manufacturer's name visible on the front, but there you go. An interesting perspective. |

Iris of Glassby dexter2Comment by kcwhisper379: I think this photo could be centered a bit more left to right. There is great detail in this picture. I'm not exactly sure what the letters read, I assume they are factory stamp, or the artisan...Nice photo. |

Iris of Glassby dexter2Comment by Wes: Very abstract. The image is nice and crisp looks good overall. Maybe a little off center (the right side looks wider than the left) Nice shot. |

Longing for homeby dexter2Comment by Gracious: I like the "burning look" you gave this by using sepia. It adds so much warmth to an image that might otherwise be cold. Because of the shading, this is an interesting textural picture. The clouds look as though you could rest comfortably upon them....:-)
Including a part of the plane gives the picture a story, and there is no doubt about where you are shooting from.
The light spot in the sky is a little over-exposed, causing a hot spot.
The prop shows motion...good!

Longing for homeby dexter2Comment by boyte1: Of all the plane pics this week, this one is the best. Love the color and that you left the prop of the plane in the shot. |
