A little walk in the ol' countryby blind_as_a_batComment by Paige: I can see what attracted you to take this shot, but was totally disappointed when the power lines started to come into view, they are usually a big no no when shooting landscapes. I liked the pastel look to the photo and the old building. |

A little walk in the ol' countryby blind_as_a_batComment by jjbeguin: The barn in the backgroung has a lot of potential as an interesting foreground for a landscape composition. Trees and wires one sees everywhere. The dry winter ground vegetation also has charms that this dull uniform sky has'nt. good choice of location but not very well exploited. this is a scene viewed many times, include something unique in it to captivate your audiance |

A little walk in the ol' countryby blind_as_a_batComment by BadPigg: If you could take out the power lines, center the tree . It would help . But they might have arrested you for chopping down power pole's. Power lines and sometimes wire fences are a big negative . |

A little walk in the ol' countryby blind_as_a_batComment by io: I love the atmosphere in this picture but, for me anyway, it is let down slightly by the composition. The building on the left is what really grabs my interest and it seems a pefect focal point, in line with the general tone of the picture. However, every time I try to scan across the image, the tree in the centre just seems to get in the way and obstruct the flow, bringing my eyes back to the foreground.. |

A little walk in the ol' countryby blind_as_a_batComment by indigo997: I love the water color feel of this shot. I think the barn and tree are the real stars of this shot and would almost rather see it as a vertical crop of just those two - although lots of the traditional landscape voters might disagree. Needs a tad more ground so that the trunk isn't cut off. |
