_DSC7322-01_streams.jpgby RefwhettComment by Bear_Music: A very nice image. The colors are perhaps a tad too posterized, but that's a personal judgment. I don't agree that the sky should be darker per se, but I do think applying a little gradient to it would help, from a deeper blue to transparent on the selected sky area alone. |

_DSC7316-01_ruined-cabin.jpgby RefwhettComment by rasdub: I like this image the best of the two. The color of the sky is much better than the other picture....perhaps you can adjust the other picture to capture more of this color in the sky. Love the old building! |

_DSC7322-01_streams.jpgby RefwhettComment by rasdub: You could select the sky in PS and then work with the saturation and hue. I agree that it needs a deeper shade of blue to match the water a little more closely. |

_DSC7322-01_streams.jpgby RefwhettComment by Telehubbie: Very nice. I'm not sure what you want to do with the sky, but you could cut this sky out and use a gradient fill to give you more blues to it and match the color of the reflection in the marsh more. I don't have PS with me at work and don't know the steps offhand or I'd walk you through it. Beautiful scenery here. |
