I love this. The composition and lighting are marvelous. I like the way the faces of the animals are in shadow... somehow it gives a sort of musing ambiguity to the photo. Yet the twinkle from the dog's eye saves it from being too ambiguous, and thus uninteresting. An AWESOME photo.

On my screen, this looks a tad dark... maybe a little more contrast or a levels adjustment might help. And I might personally like to see more of the cherries in the background. But otherwise this is completely perfect! Awesome work.

heh, too bad the voters didn't like your interpretation of peace... ;) I think this is great - the colors, the shallow dof, and the concept itself is quite clever for the challenge. Doves usually are associated with peace and heaven, so...

I LOVE this photo. The shadow across the cat's face emphasizes the fact that he is "peeking" over the railing/wood....scheming a plan.
