Alone in Toledoby vonautschComment by Beagleboy: Nice shot! I like how you show how this big hunk of steel and glass is surrounded by much smaller buildings and greenery.
I always wonder what pushes city councils to accept the building of such large structures that look soooo out of place with their surroundings. These people should read up on Post Modernism. Adapt new buildings to the existing man-mande and natural landscape. It doesn't look as goofy.
Keep up the nice work. |

All is Lostby vonautschComment by dwaters: Nice capture of the light in this one. Shallow DOF would have brought out the sword more-the BG is a little distracting. |

All is Lostby vonautschComment by Katspetkat: I just finished reading Sir Thomas Malory's La Morte D'Arthur, so forgive me if I see this as an image of the death of King Arthur. It is a beautiful hilt. Really it speaks of the end of a kingdom to me, perhaps that is a personal kingdom, a family or a country? |

All is Lostby vonautschComment by BobsterLobster: Great idea, but the composition lets it down. All the elements (tree, bush, sword) seem to blend into each other, and I feel they need to be seperated. Great sky and lighting, but it's a shame about the burnt out highlights on the tree trunk. 6 |
