The grain muddies this picture too much. I am unsure what your subject is doing. I seems to have his hand out, but I am unsure if he is reaching for me or pushing me away. I am unable to see his facial expression to judge from theat either. Great idea, though. Change the angle and clean this up and you could really have a powerful image.

Photo is very small, and I know the grain effect is on purpose but I think it's way overboard. Too much detail and interest in your subject is lost.

this is a gritty picture, but it works in this case, the back light also works, this is the opposite of "pro" but it really works for me... maybe if there could be more of the backlighting shinning on the top of his hat to fully uluminate his pose that would work a bit better, but good shot
