Damn, you're good at this. That single bird and the leading line of the pier! Your bird shots just make me want to go on and on. I can see this as a cover to a book or an illustrated short story. It has a sadness, a loneliness. The wistfulness that the LB puts to an image is really one of my favorite responses to an image.

There are certain images that are just immediate mood provokers and this is one. It's a cold lonely winter day yet the birds are still flying, which gives hope that the other living things will be back soon. It has a mystery about it as well. The bleakness of the bare trees/shrubs and the cold icy gray blue just makes us want to hunker down in the security of our home and gaze out the window at this wintery scene. Going to favs, man. WOW - I'm so prolific today. LOL

Well, it's dark. Foreboding. Portentous. It may mean you are going on a journey. For a few days. You will meet a tall dark stranger, with a woodie. Take precautions.
