I think the look you obtain when you sharpen something after the fact is never as good as if it were crystal clear to begin with. I have found that more times than I care to mention. Since you had asked in the forum, I thought I'd just respond this way.

I love the single claw and the statement it makes as sort of an "alien" type prehistoric being, but to me it is still slightly out of focus.The lighting and composition is excellent I hope this is helpful.

No, but I thik you should stain it and make it into a picture frame. Or, if you have a ripsaw or bandsaw, you can probably slice those (thickness-wise) and get a set of three out of those same pieces for a nice triptych arrangement.
