if you like shooting skateboarding, take a look at the photo critique on www.skateboardphotography.com but otherwise for a skate photo there's a lot wrong with this, the lighting is alright though. cant see where he's comin from or landing really, should get further back, background is too busy. I can't vote but if i could i'd give 5.

Oh dear, someone had a LOT of fun didn't they? LOL! This is a classic candid shot of a dog at the beach and I love it for that. But for a portrait challene, it falls just a bit short. Maybe a slightly tighter crop on the left and top to really bring the dog main focus of the shot, leaving the beach and water as your negative space filler. The light is a bit bright but then again, how you gonna difuse the sun? :) I had this at a 5 but am going to bump up to a 6

this is one of my favorite dog shots..I like the place it was photographed and the idea of the dog being wet from swimming adds to the composition...good dof with focus on dog and beach directly in front of him.
