This pic tells one of two stories. I'll take the one of the man who works for the road department in paving side of it. He works hard a relaxes by doing photography. They say a writer should write about what he knows and the same with a photographer? So he took a picture of his work boots. Good pic, a little soft but still a good pic. The boots show he is a hard worker and the photo shows he puts time into his pics. Good choice of content. Like the work material still on the boot - adds character. I like it overall. A good 6 PTL

Interesting, but I think the focus needs to be on the buckle (or whatever the gold is) and it seems to be sharpest to the right of that instead.

An interesting shot. I find the slightly-out-of-focus background elements a bit distracting - the depth of field is too large to put them right out of focus and they're busy enough that there's quite a lot of detail there to draw the eye away from the focal point. A very inventive choice of subject, though.

the DOF on this photo is very interesting. The title says "boot", but I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be looking at. I assume maybe a very used and dirty boot. Sorry for not getting it.
