whilst browsing the thumbnails this struck me as something rather special straight away. it's noticeably different and creative - i especially love how it's composed with the matching boot being in the soft background... kind of like a rock photo... i don't, the way you've captured this give the skates some sort of personality; a don't bitch with me attitude too. really cool shot - 10.

One of the better bulb shots in the challenge IMO. Still a bit of motion blur however and that's going to cost you some in the voting I'm afraid. I really like the blue on white - very nice combination. The bulb base is quite sharp and detailed. I'm wondering if some of the blur in the moving pieces is because of aperture selection and DOF? Anyway, you'll probably do fairly well with this nonetheless. ;^) Good luck.
