I like your concept and execution. I would try cropping it so just the tree shows because the green part looks a little watery or something. Also, maybe move the flower down to the part in the bottom where the bark is coming away from the tree so that it maybe looks cradled by the tree? (is that a dumb idea, it's a little late here!)

I like the POV enhanced by the vertical crop. The background works well in providing some interest without competing for attention. Very cool how some of the petals are folded in.

The shape of flower reminds me of an old-fashioned sunbonnet.
The "graininess" of this processing brings out details that probably wouldn't show up, otherwise.
