I found this most moving, immediately, and without thinking. Your title (which could as well have been 'once' without the periods) speaks simply but extremely well without naming.

This has the feel of a shot that was taken a bit wider and then rotated and cropped after the fact. Either that or your camera angle is way to high for the lighting, since the shadow from your main light is almost going directly to the side of her face (look at the nose shadow) instead of down on a 45 degree angle. Great job in separating th dark hair and outfit from the background. Nice exposure.
