Our Romantic Hideawayby ace flymanComment by Bankson: Something odd in this picture makes it seem like a model of a boat.
I think it is because boat is so focused and nothing else in the picture is.
It is a cool effect though. |

Our Romantic Hideawayby ace flymanComment by moodville: First impression when I saw this was that the depth of field looked artificial. After looking at it for a while it does work and has an almost 3d quality to it. The thickness of the light reflection on the far right steals a lot of the eyes' attention, though. Reducing the size of the light beam may help some. |

Our Romantic Hideawayby ace flymanComment by Photogma: I really like this. It almost doesn't look "real" lol...It reminds me of a technique in photoshop used to make life sized subjects (typically landscape...houses, and such) appear to be models. Anyway, this is quite lovely. |
