I really like this composition and detail in it, but I do think that this image could be processed better. The greenish colour in the shadow area does not look too appealing to me. I think a subtle approach to the colours would work better. Also, the border does not work and I think it looks horrible. But I am scoring on the photograph you created, not how you have presented it. Overall, nice job.

Very nice detail. Love the way we can see the little fibers. This is definately an extreme close up in my opinion. I like the diagonal lines, and how and where you placed the subject within the frame is great. I think the border is good too. I dont usually comment on borders, but yours compliments the image nicely. Lighting is also nice. Overall great capture! ~Heather~
