A Luthier's Artby ShaneBlakeComment by kelbelle: this may just be my personal taste, but i think this would be a really great shot if it was a little more in focus in the front. lots of texture, color, funky symmetry going on here. |

A Luthier's Artby ShaneBlakeComment by PugPop: I would of scored this higher if the depth-of-field included the entire instrument. It was much too shallow for my taste. |

A Luthier's Artby ShaneBlakeComment by xodiak: Nice shot and good use of a short depth of field but I think you could have benifited with just a tad more. I'd have liked to see all of the...er...tuning pin thingy's be in focus. |

A Luthier's Artby ShaneBlakeComment by rennie: You will probably suffer from the same effect as me - people won't see connection to "Good" in it. Maybe if the subject was fully visibe, it would've help. In this picture the focus is on the string. I would think it is more about "well tuned" than "good piece of a luthier art". I have no idea what kind of instrument it is, but I can understand your idea. |

Cotton Candyby ShaneBlakeComment by hyperfocal: I guess West Tennessee infrared landscape shots with a D70 and the 18-70 are good for a 6.4 egh?;-) Mine (Piece & Quiet) was 6.4108, so you edged me out (deservedly so). Great shot! |

Cotton Candyby ShaneBlakeComment by Ben: This should have come much higher in my opinion, i love the feel to it and it just looks brilliant. |
