I like the form of the bridge. I also like the colors of the yellow and red winter wear against the white ice and gray concrete. And I get that this is two bridges: one physical and one metaphorical. But I think that visually the photo would be stronger if it were just the bridge without people or train. Alternatively I think it would be stronger if it were just about the people set against the background of the concrete bridge pier.

Great idea, but what you have done to the lightbulb stuff is a disaster. The candle is overexposed, too and out of focus... Sorry, but I feel too much useless artifical elements in your photo that doesn't help the story you wanted to tell, evenmore they ruined your photo... :-(((

I love the candle and its colors - the glow on it is beautiful. I don't understand what that big blue and white disk is, but maybe I'm just dense. The answer probably explains the old and new part of the challenge. Well, I do really like that candle and the black background.
