My Favorite Christmas Lightsby jrjrComment by Falc: I think there's also a little barrel distortion here. Because of the low angle you have shot from the two outside bottles lean in/bend slightly, this can be fixed in PS.
As previously noted the background is the same intensity as the foreground, maybe lose some of the light, or increase the light on the foreground subjects.
There is no single part of the image which the eye wants to rest on, no real main object, maybe try an make a composition where the eye follows a line to end up on a bottle. |

My Favorite Christmas Lightsby jrjrComment by Azrifel: I think it needs more light from the front because the tone of the bottles is now the same as the background. The bottles should stand out a bit more, especially the part with the text.
I don't like it how the background works with your foreground subject, the reflection/refraction of the the lights in the bottle is too busy. |

My Favorite Christmas Lightsby jrjrComment by alexgarcia: I like it. I gave it a 7 during the Challenge. The idea is great.
Maybe the composition is a little bit static: all the bottles are at the same distance, so they are the same height. If they were forming a diagonal rather than a pararel line it would improved the photo IMO. And in this way you should also could use a shallow DOF to just focus on one bottle. |
