Hmm... some things came out well on this photo, and some things didn't. The looking up portion for the challenge is perfectly covered. The color in the picture is great - nice reds, blues, and greens. You have some great detail in the plant, with even a bit of fuzz for show on the tips. I don't like the cropping on this image, though. Your sky is plain (not your fault, obviously, unless you had multiple nice days to attempt this shot) and seems to show off scratches (perhaps from your lense??)... As well, the bug isn't really in focus. I mean, the image is sharp and detailed, not blurry, but there just is no real sense of texture to these objects, or depth. It's a good picture overall, don't get me wrong - there just is room for improvement.
