Nice idea, the selective desat works well here. To me, the desaturation says that the playground is grey and without colour because the children have gone, while the red and blue are like traces of the children still left in memory. Shame about the burnt out sky though, and the composition doesn't quite do it for me. 7

I really like the desaturation on this one, the way it makes the playground equipment stand out so boldly. The sky is a fair bit glaring, though - if I scroll so that it's cut off at the top of the left-hand tree, I like the feel of the image much more, and don't find my eyes drawn to the sky nearly as much, if at all.

I really like this kind of effect I wish I could learn how to do it for myself. I often feel b&w shots need a splash of color, works very well for your choice of subjects too. Technically I suppose would of been bit better if could of blurred the house. ( though no idea how could do that and keep swings in focus). Well done.
