Trappedby glodaComment by scaramanga: I love the message here: trapped between all those flawless, perfect bodies and faces, setting standards what "beauty" is - and they are all so wrong! The perspective is great, the motion blur works. I like the fact, that the models right hand covers the eyes of the model from the magazin. Very interesting shot! |

Trappedby glodaComment by Brad: Most unusual shot.
The angle of the crop/rotation (if it was cropped/rotated) works well here. |

Your road looks good, but I think it needs to be wider. Particularly in the area near the driver's side rear wheel--the overlap makes it look like the stuff on the sides has depth (or height, whichever way you want to look at it), like tall grass. Actually, what it really kinda looks like is water.
I think you've got too much steering angle, and the front wheel/tire is too well lit.
I don't mind the overblown look of the headlights, but I think the flare location looks a little off. Have a look at some pics of the real car, I would tend to think the outer corners are parking/turn signal lights, so your flare should move inboard. //www.edmunds.com/media/reviews/top10/05.cars.best.residual.value/05.audi.s4.500.jpg

I see cpanaioti's point about the image being more dynamic by adjusting the angle of tilt, but I don't think it needs to be a greater bank left, but rather maybe more of a left and DOWNward tilt... maybe? As for the carpet look, I think a closer crop and then maybe some dodge/burn/blur could be helpful. Good luck with your work! |

20060619.16.53.46.3622.jpgby glodaComment by gloda: Nova, thank you. It is a model. The sides are made of light, i.e. real. The roadway is paper. I guess that means I processed the paper well enough to make it convincing.
Maybe I should push the contrast in the sides to get rid of the carpet look? |

20060619.16.53.46.3622.jpgby glodaComment by cpanaioti: A few more nitpicks:
1) Headlights - too overblown
2) Angle not extreme enough - I think the image would be more dynamic if the car were pointing more to the bottom left corner
3) Bright streak in the top right corner is a bit distracting |
